In Matthew 5:1-2 it says: Now when Jesus saw the crowds, He went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to Him, and He began to teach them.

The heart behind the Teaching Ministry at theCross is to encourage and allow people to engage with the Bible, which is God’s inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word.

Quite simply, the goal of this ministry is discipleship; we want people to follow Jesus well. Discipleship takes place as people participate in Bible Studies and Small Groups to learn to read and study the Bible, understand what it means, discover what it means for them personally, and then apply it to their lives. Disciples then apply God’s Word in their lives by serving others and serving their church. We refer to anyone who serves at theCross as the Dream Team.

In 2 Timothy 3:16-17, we read: All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

We are passionate about helping people discover the truth, grace, and power contained in Scripture.

Bottom line: We need God’s inspired Word because it is full of life-giving and life-transforming power, and the amazing thing is that His Word is available to all of us.

Bible Study & Small Groups

We want to encourage and allow people to engage with the Bible, which is God’s inspired, inerrant, and infallible Word. This takes place as people participate in Bible Studies and Small Groups to learn to read and study the Bible, understand what it means, discover what it means for them personally, and then apply it to their lives.

theCross Kids

Children come into theCross Kids on a Sunday morning to hear and experience the love of God. theCross Kids is for children from six months old to 5th grade. They play games, read the Bible, and talk with their leaders about what God means to them. The Children’s Ministry team is passionate about partnering with families, getting kids excited about Jesus, and setting the foundations for a permanent faith of the child.

TC Youth

TC Youth is our student ministry for students 6th through 12th grade. It is a space for teenagers to come together as followers of Christ to deepen their faith. During our time we worship, hear a message, enjoy some food, and have some great fellowship.
